~ SilverStreams Ice Crystal (Little Bit)~ SIRE-GRASSHILL MR. NAUGHTY DAM-WILLOW RUN CANSTA
2003 Doeling, twin - Retained in the
SilverStreams
herd. Little Bit was born in August of 2003 and grew like a weed. She is a lovely doeling and I have a feeling that she will do well in the show ring this coming season. SIRE-GRASSHILL MR. NAUGHTY DAM-SILVERSTREAMS MEGHAN'S MILLY 2003 Doeling, twin - Retained in the SilverStreams herd
Miranda was in too big a hurry to grow up this year and became a mother when she is barely more than a child herself; she delivered a single doeling that she loves dearly.
SilverStreams 2005 Kids shall be listed after they arrive. bred to Sweating Acres F. Fantastic
Milly is my pride and joy. She is the combination of CH. Rockey Acres Meghan and Ashton View Horace. Milly produced twins this year, one buckling and one doeling. The buckling is sold, but her doeling is yet for sale - $300.00

Shadow is a from the Bradley's herd. It was shortly after we acquired this doe, that Mr. Bradley passed away. Maurice and Karen left a legacy of fine milking goats. Shadow decided to get herself bred at a very young age and kidded out last August with a single buckling. Then, she joined the show circuit in September and did quite well for a yearling milker but, it is in the milk parlour, not the show ring, that Shadow truly shines. She is the best first freshening doe that ever added to the milk bucket at my farm. Shadow lives to milk and after doing well for me, was leased out to a commercial dairy to continue her lactation. After Shadow was bred, she returned home to finish her gestation in familiar territory. Shadow's kids shall be available.
Bucks and Does - $200.00 each

Ch.Meghan has proven herself over and over again. She has excellent conformation, milks like a real trooper, provides multiple kids, etc., etc.. Sadly, because of attempting to reduce herd size to lessen the work load, some unpleasant decisions must be made and thus, I have decided to part with Meghan and let her provide her new owner with some top quality offspring such as she has given me.
Last year, her doelings were sold to the Pandemonium Place Herd, where they were shown intensively. Meghan's Mae was never out of first place and her sister Amy was never far behind. I have two milking doelings from Meghan and have not been disappointed with either one; both are wonderful. Doelings shall be sale - $350.00 each
Maggie and Meghan are full sisters, both born and raised at Silver Streams Farm. As a weaned kid, we parted with Maggie and she became a pet in a very small herd. After the passing of her owners, Maggie and her herdmates moved to a new home at Nature's Wild farm and then last year, that herd was put up for sale and I had the opportunity to acquire back some lines from my original stock.
Maggie and her daughter Matilda (sired by Grasshill Mr. Naughty) found a warm welcome awaiting them, back at Silver Streams Farm. Maggie has always been a quiet, shy, delicate gal, and seemed to regress a bit after being moved; so, I've been concentrating on getting her back to full health before breeding her later this season, to Ashton View Horrace.
~Willow Run Dane Cansta~ bred to Ashton View Horace
Cansta is a lovely American Doe, carrying the distinguished herd name of "Willow Run". When I first got Cansta, she developed gangrene mastitis and lost half of her udder. She is one very exceptional goat. She delivers and raises her kids, with only one half of her udder. This past August, Cansta delivered and raised twins - one buckling and one doeling, which have been retained in my herd. This April, Cansta presented me with triplets, two does and a buck. The buck has been reserved, one doeling shall be retained, and one doeling is for sale - $250.00
bred to Grasshill Mr. Naughty
A few days after Miranda's first birthday, she gave birth to a lovely little doeling. Not much more than a baby herself, she has more than measured up to the task of Motherhood.
Miranda's doeling is for sale - $200.00
bred to Grasshill Mr. Naughty
Moment is so similar in body construction to her dam, it's like seeing Meghan as a kid again. Moment freshened with a single buckling in April of 2004. She has a lovely, globular, well attached udder. I have not been milking her, simply allowing her to raise her buckling; so, the amount that she milks is unknown for this year.
bred to Grasshill Mr. Naughty bred to Ashton View Horace
My dear Miss Naughty was rough housing with her friends one day, close to her kidding date, and played a little too rough, causing Miss Naughty to lose her twins. Miss Naughty was devastated over the lose of her babies; however, the Boer goat named Chrissy had two almost white kids; so, Miss Naughty decided to borrow one of Chrissy's doelings and raise it for herself. Both dams seem quite satisfied with the arrangement.
bred to Ashton View Horace
Naughty is from one of the leading Saanen herds in the U.S.A. and it is a privilege to have Naughty and her 2002 doeling in my herd; also, Naughty's 2001 buckling, Mr. Naughty, is one of Silver Streams Saanen Herd Sires. Naughty has been bred to Ashton View Horace for a spring/summer kidding.
Note: Naughty
has been sold; this is the last opportunity to obtain a
1st doeling shall be retained by Silversteams Farm
all other kids shall be for sale - $300.00 each
bred to Grasshill Mr. Naughty
Wild Thing is 50% purebred but, has not been registered. She has been bred to a registered purebred this year; so, her doelings can be recorded with the Canadian Goat Society.
Doelings shall be for sale - $150.00 with recordation papers. Please check with me this summer for a list of Saanen Does that shall be for sale. I intend to retain only a few of the does because of getting too old for the work load. All the above does have good genetics and represent twenty-five years of breeding program selection. This is a good opportunity to pick up a mature, yet-young doe, for a fraction of the cost of raising one. |
