Moon is a real worker and one of my personal favorites; she embodies many of the qualities that I like to see in this breed. She has a capacious, well attached, globular udder, a very type-correct body, and an impeccable pedigree.
Her 2002 buckling, Excalibr by Moon, has been retained as one of SilverStreams LaMancha herd sires.
Moon earned a Championship Leg toward her Permanent Championship in 2002, the last year that she was shown. Moon was pulled from a show career due to illness that left her with a disability that has curtailed the "Show World". Moon herself is doing well and living and working at home as a brood doe. She remains one of my favorites and her 2003 doeling "Sonata", carries on Moon's legacy in my Silverstreams Herd.
